Michaela is a Legal Director in our Commercial Property team.

She regularly advises on high value real estate transactions to include the acquisition, development and disposal of assets, construction matters, property management, commercial leasing and secured lending transactions. Michaela has recently acted on:

• the purchase of CastleCourt Shopping Centre, Belfast which includes all ongoing asset management and the recent repurposing of the former Debenhams space to a leisure facility;

• the purchase of the Bushmills Inn Hotel;

• the purchase of 35 Donegall Place, Belfast;

• the purchase of Bedford House, Belfast;

• the purchase and sale of a number of development sites in both Northern Ireland and England & Wales for a variety of developers;

• the sale and leaseback of several nursing homes in Northern Ireland; and

• several ongoing residential and commercial construction projects to include The Paper Exchange, Belfast and Portland 38, Belfast.

Michaela was educated at Queen’s University Belfast and has practised as a commercial property solicitor at Davidson McDonnell since qualification in 2015. She is qualified to practise in Northern Ireland and England & Wales and regularly advises in both jurisdictions.

In 2024, Michaela was awarded "Young Lawyer of Year" at the Insider Media NI Young Professional Awards.
