Louise McCaffrey
Louise is a Solicitor in our Corporate team and regularly advises clients on domestic and multi-jurisdictional M&A transactions and private equity investments across a range of industries including, but not limited to, IT, manufacturing, retail and hospitality.
She has recently worked on transactions advising:
the shareholders of Obarcs (Holdings) Limited (the holding company of the Rich Sauces business and brand) on the sale of its entire share capital to Solina UK Holdings Limited, a French headquartered multi-national in the food industry;
the shareholders of the largest independent electrical wholesalers in Northern Ireland, Cable and Accessories (NI) Limited, on the sale of its entire issued share capital to Finn Bidco UK Limited, part of one of the largest independent electrical wholesalers in Ireland;
the sole shareholder of NI travel company, Addeelia Consultancy Limited, on the sale of its entire share capital to Human Travel Limited;
a Belgian headquartered multinational packaging group on a joint venture and secondary buy-out with a local packaging company; and
a significant investment into a local IT services group Xperience by leading mid-market private equity investor Bowmark Capital.
Louise was educated at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown and Queens University, Belfast.
Prior to joining Davidson McDonnell, Louise worked as a Legal and Compliance Business Analyst for one of the “Big Four”. She joined Davidson McDonnell in the role of Legal Executive in 2015 before commencing her training with the firm in 2017 and qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2019.
