Aisling Owens
Aisling is a Legal Director in our Finance team.
Aisling advises financial institutions and borrowers on a broad range of finance transactions with particular emphasis on development finance, real estate finance, syndicate financing, leveraged acquisition financing, mezzanine financing, receivables financing and lending to corporates.
Aisling is qualified to practise in Northern Ireland, Ireland and England & Wales and regularly advises in each jurisdiction. She spent twelve years with another leading Irish law firm, working between offices in Belfast and Dublin.
Aisling's previous experience includes advising:
NatWest Markets Plc, as senior lender, and Lucid, as agent and security agent, in respect of the €75 million financing of RediResi for the acquisition of a social housing portfolio.
Various Northern Irish and Irish corporates on their financing arrangements, including a £25 million leveraged acquisition facility.
An Agent, for a syndicate of four banks, in respect of the financing of a large corporate group with subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Germany, Canada, England, Belgium and Ireland.
The lenders on the development financing of the landmark EXO building in Dublin Docklands.
AIB on development finance facilities relating to sites at Walled Orchard Garden, Dundrum and Lime Street.
